Missouri:

1) make the antler restriction statewide (4pts on a side)
2) Limit the amount of tags for both bucks/does (overpopulation isoverated)
3) raise the price of tags for nonresidents
4) make shooting button bucks illegal
5) and of course you'll need more law officers to enforce my new changes
6)eliminate the youth seasons, sorry kids but i grew uphuntingwithout them andi still loved it, you can too.you'll be a better hunter for it.
I like all those for MO especially 1) and would add these two:

7) change thefirearms season from 12 days in the middle of November, to something similar to Illinois, 3 days in November and 4 days in December.
8)restrict firearms season to shotgun, muzzleloader, handgun or archery.

This methodology makes nosense.

If the numbers of hunters is declining (and they, the DNR, know this), why not just up the bag limits? Why go through all the trouble of making people tag animals under another name? If you want more animals taken.....you need to up the bag limits.

Are you SURE you just didn't want to kill more bucks? I, for the life of me.....don't understand this.

And speaking of statistics.....I'm sure they (DNR) keep up with the total deer herd statistics; % of animals killed in auto accidents; % taken by hunters;% of natural deaths;% of tags sold each yr that aren't filled...to come up with annual bag limits.

Jeff

PA ( I have thought about this many times before)
1. Allow sunday hunting
2. Archery season to run Oct 1 to Jan 15th.
3. Eliminate early ML & youth/SR rifle seasons
4. Gun season to shorten from 12 to 9 days, starting the saturday after thanksgiving
5. Significantly increase (AND ENFORCE) penalties for the illegal killing of game. Use these increases to provide wardens and incentive to turnpoachers in and make it less of an accepted behavior.
6.Keep AR, making it 4 pts statewide(And JR's must follow the rules too)
7. Ban spotlighting
8. Allow WCOto enforce tresspass laws
9. Provide habitat improvement on state lands(logging, etc)
10. Allow handguns as legal weapons in SRA gun seasons
11. Archery bear season to run for 2 weeks in november prior to the gun season
12. late season archery/flintlock changes to 9 days of anything but rifles season. Inlines, flintlocks, Xbows, pistols, are legal.
13. Change shooting hours to 1/2 after sunset

What trouble? You give me your tag, I say thank you. I'm sure there is a bunch of reasons why the state chose to go with this vs. some other method. I don't know for sure but everybody seems to like it.

Are you SURE you just didn't want to kill more bucks? I, for the life of me.....don't understand this.
Man, if you can't figure out on your own why someone might want to kill more than 1 buck in an entire season, then I sure won't be able to help you. Come on, you're just joshing me!

Germ, what have you started!!!! Not another... but i will participate anyway..

For us MD guys:

1. Earn a buck tag for all seasons in most DMR's.
2. Make gun season shotgun only statewide.
3. Set gun season back to one week.
4. Make gun season Antlerless only for the first 4 days, then either sex for the last 3.
5. Allow Hunting on Sundays.
6. Allow lead shot to be used for migratory game birds.
7. Hire more GW's.
8. Possible antler restrictions w/ 4 pts to a side, (not so sure im a fan of antler restrictions)
9. Increase QDM incentives, IE: land bank programs and CRP, CREP programs

VA
1. Fill doe tags (all 3) before you qualify for a buck.
2. Reduce buck tags from 3 to 1.
3. Allow hunting on Sunday.
4. More law enforcement (especially where road hunting is popular).
5. Increase requirement for shooting bucks. Number of points or something similar.
6. Allow Me (kp) to shoot at least onestupid hunter a year, and reward me for doing it, by issuing me another buck tag.
7. Get rid of crossbow, unless handicapped.
8. Reevaluate tag requirements each year.

1) Go back to having check stations.
2) 1 buck per year, period.
BBM- I would also swap the gun seasons, four days first, three days second.
