Those are the type of guys that shoot at a movement in the brush and kill hunters not deer. Practice on the range does pay off, This year I took a 5 point not a hanger but a nice 125lb dressed deer and my son got his first one a doe agian not a hanger but about 100 lbs dressed. both clean shots.Mine went about 100 yds and my son dropped his where she stood so practice does indead pay off.Practice and be SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

He won't get the big one, he won't even see him. It will go no where near him. This guy has no clue about bowhunting, thus no clue about scent control, stand placement for bowhunting, yardage estimation and the list goes on and on. He will be so busted he will never even know it.

The bad thing about it is that guys like this get lucky all the time and this instance will probably be no different, I'm sorry to say.

I hope this guy doesn't see anything either, but I have seen the phenomenon of &quot;beginner's luck&quot; enough that it wouldn't suprise me.

Well, no news from the pro shop on his success.

He hasn't reported in with a deer (the shop is also a check station).

If he owns the land and didn't know about the deer before I am sure he still hasn't had a sighting. The scarey thing is he will prob. fall out of the tree and someone will think he was an actual hunter.
