this makes 2 big deer I've missed down there. the first was an 8 point, yesterday a 6 point with about a 17" spread.
I've learned my lesson, I'll always try and stop the deer before
I take the shot. have you ever heard people makin ever mistake in the book? well I do!

I shot and brokw 3 G/E Splitfires a couple of years ago ( I think that was the model - fire somethings ??) two I blew the cams apart on and one had a cracked riser. The offset grips were nice, but hated the bows !!

I have heard of Felsenthal but haven't ever hunted it. Lots of pressure ?

That White River NWF is the one I want to go to ! Did you see the big buck on www.ardeerhunting.com ?? HUGE !

my splitfire 36 is a new model they came out with this year.
it has an 8" braceheight, is 36" a/a and has the modular perimeter
one cam. I like the offset grip, and so far I've taken 2 deer with it
this year. hadn't had a bit of trouble with mine.
I get 245 fps with my beman ICS 400'rds.
dang!! I was thinkin about gettin the splitfire 1 a few years ago.
glad I didn't if they were that bad.!

felsenthall gets a lot of pressure untill the last 2 day gun hunt. which is around the 9th of nov. then after that, it's not bad at all.
that's when I usually go from around the 15th through the end of nov.

never hunted white river, I imagine it's hunted hard.

Don't worry Bogobble, we get our second chances until Feb 28. Lots of time yet to try, try, again.

The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!

God Bless,
Dave

Look at the bright side bo, you get til Feb 28th to try again and again and again like deerdust said. I've waited through 4 Oct 1-Feb 28th's to try to get ONE chance on a deer.

I thought that may make ya feel better.
