Outback Discontinued? Why?

I was just surfing the Mathews site, and they have a feature on there where you can choose bows to compare against each other. I currently shoot the outback, and am thinking of moving onto the switchback xt or the drenalin. Anyways, I noticed on there that the Outback is now a discontinued model....I personally love the bow.....anyone know why they would discontinue it? Some kind of flaw???

To answer your question.

One word: Drenalin.

Eventually, new bows replace the old.

I understand that old replaces new, i just thought it's kind of soon to discontinue a model that's only been around 2 years or so when they still have models such as the lx on the market. oh well, what do i know anyways? I just think it's such a smooth, quiet, excellent hunting bow. Im only 'upgrading' becasue my old man wants to buy my outback becasue he doesn't want to spend the coin on a new mathews.....

The Switchback XT basicly replaced the Outback as the "short ata" bow. Just like the Outback did to the Q2. And the XT will be replaced in a couple years when the next short bow comes out.
