Do some research on them. They are amazing. The coach that led them for many years is now the U.S. coach. He never wrote anything until recently and it's some good stuff.

He's changing alot of what the american team is doing as well..........it will be nice to see if we can compete with them now that we have a decent coach.

I know they are shooting target (FITA), but take notice that none of them draw the string back to the corner of their mouths. Everything is kept up front. Also notice that they don't even use a kisser button, let alone a kisser and peep.

RE: Japanese Archers

Or Release - they are shooting fingers!

Yes, I've seen that before, very good stuff. If you ever get the chance, make sure you see Byron Ferguson. He does a lot of demonstrations at outdoors events. He shoots an aspirin thrown in the air by his wife. He has a few videos out also.

bleeohio 12-05-2006 09:48 AM

Buuuttttt???????

Could they hit a monster 12pt. at an undetermined yardage, just at dusk, with mosquitoes bitin their face, cellphone vibrating in shirt pocket, and some sort of wal-mart discount doe pee in their in the eyes from wiping with wet gloves all whilest hanging 23 feet up in a wobly treestand????????? Me Neither!!!!!!

i doubt with practice i will be able to shoot through another arrow or a piece of string, maybe if i get my eyes implanted with a haws eye, and get my pin shrinked down to the size of a pin.

Well, a lot of pratice and good eye sight is my best guess on how they can do what they do
