Hunting in Snow Yes or No?
 

I'm debating on going out tomorrow morning and afternoon since I still have tags left and it just snowed about 10" in Lake County, IL on Friday. I'm just looking for adviceas far as what I should expect. Will the snow and 10 degree morning temp help or hurt the hunt?

I'm in Lake county too. was out yesterday eve and saw nothing in my area . It's been really dead. It's all suburban subdivisions with some fields and unincorporated land. They will be out feeding so look for food sources. Unfortunately I only have this one spot here abd it's hit and miss the deer cruise the area and are not always bedding in the same place.

definitley help, when its cold like that the deer move more during the day because its to cold at night to be walking around

Cosmo...get out there man....trust me..the deer real easy to see AND remember ..go slow man...when ya think your goin slower.....slow down

I love the snow it gets them moving you can see where they have been and tracking is real easy . Nothing like fresh blood in the snow . I would definitely head out for a hunt

Holy crapola man no brainer. I've been waiting all season for it to get snowy and raw. Get out there.
