Sorry it has the old style cam and half. The other cams that come on them are Zepher cam and a half. I was wondering what cams are better.

You'll lose about.......3-5 fps, but what you gain in smoothness more than makes up for it. ;)

So is something Hoyt is doing or did somebody swap cams on their own?

3-5 fps is all you gain from the hump? Yikes, I'd hope it produced more than that.

I'd give up the 3-5 just to ahve a cam that wasn't draw length specific.

Yeah. That's why we're pissed about it at the shop. It's much harder to keep inventory and such with DL specific cams. We have to order more bows and keep more in stock (which of course, was Hoyt's plan) for ameek 5 fps.....they made that switch to a DL specific cam in hopes of increasing speeds....but they didn't succeed.

If you notice, the UltraTec is rated at 310 fps...w/ a cam and a half...The Ultra 38 (which took the UltraTec's spot) is also rated at 310......with the new cam.....they gained NOTHING. But they sure are smooth.
