My Drenalin is PUMPING
Well I went yesterday and shot the new Drenalin and although I did notice a little more vibration than was in my Outback this is one smooth bow. So smooth in fact that I put one on order. I can't wait until it comes in so that I can set it up my way and see if the vibration leaves.

RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
I noticed the same thing (though slight).
Good luck with your new bow. Out of curiosity......did you shoot the XT? Jeff |
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
I shot one last night too. Read my review on it in the technical forum and see if I had the same conclusions as you.:)

RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
Out of curiosity, did you shoot any other manufacturer either? Why would you settlefor that vibration if another bow is just as smooth without vibration? What happens if they vibration does not settle down? I know, lots of questions. ;)
And I can't find a definition for drenalin so why didn't they just name it adrenalin? |
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
Rob:
Mathews already makes a bow without the vibration......2 of them....the SB and the SB XT. Jeff:D |

RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
SB: I did shoot the XT and although I did like the way that it shot I liked the feel and smoothness of the Drenalin better.
Rob: I didn't shoot anything else because I'm a blind Mathews fan. I don't consider ir settling, I consider it shooting a smooth bow with a little vibration. If it dosen't settle then I'll shoot a really nice bow with a little vibration. As far as why they called it the Drenalin I ain't got a answer for that I wondered the same thing. Thanks for asking. |
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
There's hand vibration in the drenaline?!??
Can't be. |
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
PA Hardwood: My findings were about the same as your accept for the string buzz. One of the things that I was really impressed with on the Drenalin that I shot was that it was extremly quiet. But I cango with you on all of the other points.

RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
You can't give it up can you HCH.;)

RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
HCH....I think when you give up some weight......you're gonna get a little vibration. Far as I know, though.....the Hoyts are still heavy AND they still vibrate.
At least mathews has an excuse! Jeff |
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
Not knocking the Mathews or any certain brand but.........whenever bows are built lighter, it seems they need as much or more stabilizing weight even if they have less hand shock. One other thing about newer bows using less material.........the prices should come down!! God forbid we would see that happen.

RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
Shoot a Vectrix Jeff and we will continue with the discussion. NO HAND SHOCK VIBRATION in the Vectrix. CAN YOU HEAR ME?????? LOL; take off work today and go shoot a Vectrix; warning though. You will need your debit card as you won't leave without it.

RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
Wrong. (It DOES still have the vibration)
I shot it YESTERDAY. I bought a BOWTECH. Jeff |
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
But you're welcome to continue the discussion......
Jeff |
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
Jeff, can you admit that the drenaline has handshock now that PAsays so and the ENTIRE archerytalk forum; or are you still in denial?
|
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
HCH....if you'll just look around a bit....I gave a report on ALL the bows I shot.
Stop being SO defensive and inCITEful. I won't ask if you're blind....I'll direct you to my other post. Sincerely, Jeff |
RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
Calm down SB; you're the defensive and inciteful one today. I know you were a little defensive when I stated that a Mathews bow had hand shock the other day in my report and you even tried to discount my review. Now the whole archery world is making the same comment about the handshock and I just wonder if you believe them or is it all a conspiracy. Like I stated, they are BOTH great bows. 9 out of 10 reviews say the Vectrix is the clear winner. My only fault, if it is a fault, with my review was thatI stated that I couldn't tell any weight difference between the two; I realized and made the comment later that it had to be because the Mathews was outfitted with accessories and the Vectrix was bare.Talk to you later, MO bound and you all have a great weekend!!!

RE: My Drenalin is PUMPING
I can honestly say HCH...that I've never hijacked a thread mentioning Hoyt to state what a great bow the Mathews was. You guys can's say that.
All that....and I bought a BOWTECH. jeff |
