Rumored to be killed here in MS, but I swear I've seen this pic somewhere else before?

Any of you recognize the picture? Just doesn't look like a MS deer to me.

BUCKSTAR,
Where did they come up w/180 3/8" on that.. It's a nice buck, but, it don't look to be anywhere close to 180 to me!? I have the rack from a roadkill I found that looks about the same size as that & it is only in the upper 130s!
I would almost guarantee the buck in the pic I took a couple weeks ago is bigger than that & I don't think he is in the 180s.

Okay, I did a search on the Vic B, 8 point, Yep, he's a 180! lol I have seen that buck in person at the Illinois Deer & Turkey Classic (I even got pics) a couple of years ago. It looks small in the above pic!? NOW, If you will all excuse me, I'm going to crawl back under my "I'm An Idiot" rock!

I would think the mass on that world record makes up for alot of hight

Yeah, that picture doesn't do the buck justice. It was killed in Michigan a few years back and last I knew it was actually tied for 1st place for typical 8 points. Check it out at Buckfax.com. Better yet, google it. Type in world record 8 point.

that looks bigger than ne of 'em. All are impressive though. About the original pick it's prob. a shoulder shot cause it's a rifle shot. If that's the case then I always say break the shoulders. Gun shot deer in the shoulder go nowhere.

Those are all dream bucks, But I tell ya, I seen one on a shed wall on a back road in kansas, the owner was in the yard so I stoped to talk to him, Having scored hundreds of deer over the years, Soon as I got up close to it I thought Man that rack will go over 180" . What a shame just hanging there on that shed getting weather beaten, I wish I had a camera with me and had gotton a picture.

Thats a huge 8 pointer,, they all are. There a guy here in town who collects huge racks and replicas, he has a replica of the world record 8 point, and its a hell of a lot bigger than the one in the pic stating it was world record, The replica scores 180 and some change and has 16+ inch g-2s. Its huge.

Besides not having too much mass, that is one of the tallest 8's that I've ever seen. Nice buck.

That is a mack daddy of an 8-point. Sniperp1 that is a dandy in the pic, hope you get him. Does any one remember the awesome 8-point that one of the hni members bow killed last year that made the B&C books. I believe his user name was gutpile if im thinking right.
