RE: Jimmya's Pics

thanks for all the help everyone.

i went hunting with one of my best friends from indyinapolis. Rob on the right. any way i missed this buck 2 days earlier and was really bumming. Those out of state tags are expensive.
i hunted the same tree for 3 days before harvesting this 145 pd. 6 pointer. it was awsome. Oh rob is the one that got me into deer hunting and just to be hunting with him again was awsome and to harvest my 2nd bow buck was just to cool. i think it is possible that he might of been more excited than me ( i said possible)

well it was a cold windy morning. the kind of morning that i would of probably went back to bed if i was hunting here in Ill. but my time was running out so off we headed. it was around 10:00am and i was thiking about calling it a morning and all of a sudden i see the buck walk across the ridge in the corn field so i start grunting. It was so windy that i dought he even heard it. the excitement settled down and i start thinking about getting down again and all of a sudden he pops out at the corner of the corn field about 75 yards. again i start grunting and he jumps the fence and starts comming towards me. i stand up grunt 1 more time and he is comming in hard and fast. at about 20 yards i draw my bow at 15 yards i grunt with my mouth at 10 yards i say stop and he slows down (it is now or never) to a slow walk i realease and he drops in 15 yards double lung shot. i call rob on the raido and he says whats up i say i am looking at a dead deer but to go ahead and finish hunting i can take care of it he was there in a matter of seconds. it was awsome.

how about that proud little boy he cant wait to get out there with his daddy
