Man what a deer, thing is enormous. That got my blood boiling since im going hunting in Maryland this weekend.

I used to live in southern PA for 6 years in York (1/2 hour from MD border) and worked in the Baltimore suburbs for quite a while. Man did they have some great deer down there. It is another very overlooked state. Congrats to that guy.......it's truly a magnificent deer.

no I shouldnt say it ... aw what the heck- I`ll bet someone passed on this deer when he was a little six pointer so he could grow to the deer he was this year

I love the gray pattern on that deers face, not sure if it has to do with age though. Awesome buck.

Sounds like it wasprobably the Eastern Shore (Not sure where exactly Charles Co. is?) but the hunter refers to the deer as coming out of a marsh.

I've read a bunch of links on it and it said that the guy had to call his friend from his stand to calm him down because it bedded down 100yds away with no shot and he could see the rack.........an 8pt walked up and the deer stood from its bed. The rest is history.

The Baltimore Sun is reporting that they put a tape on him at 268" or so beating the old record by 40" which is astounding when you think about it.

The deer also only dressed out at 150lbs with an estimated live weight of about 185lbs.
