Isn't it great how everytime someone posts a picture, they are instanty accused of being a photoshop artist?

Yeah, get over the photoshop crap. To me it looks like a digital picture of a hard copy picture (taken at an angle)... just like he says. Either way, I'll take your word for it. A darn big doe, no doubt.

thats a big doe! I beleive it, I have heard of does going over 2 bills up north here in New England. Nice doe.
One question. What is with the gut job? Did you use a sharp rock? Or did the dogs get at it.

Your picture looks like a photoshop advertisement for BigFoot gone amuck. I don't think you could have taken a worse picture if you tried. Throw that camera away before it hurts someone.

Thats a big doe, but it didnt weigh 250lbs. I wish people would quit guessing the weights of deer. If you dont have a scale dont try and guesstimate.

Why does everyone feel the need to pick every picture posted apart. Based on his post it sounded like he did weigh it dressed at 210 and estimated the live weight based on that. As far as doe getting that big I can definitely believe it. A friend of mine took one last year in York county Pa that dressed at 205 and I saw it hanging on the scale with my own two eyes. As far as photoshop it just looks like a bad quality pic to me.

Nice sized deer....but look at the nose it seems to be awful short to be such a big deer, maybe its the angle i dont know. nice deer anyway ya look at it.

OK then; will someone please tell me why this thread is called one tough doe? Was the hunt , the meat, or gutting it with a chainsaw tough?

it loks to me like a small cow

ok so if it isnt photoshopped or anything and it is real then you better throw your 1950 camera away. The head is lighter but then the back is dark. And also that deer looks to be only 1 1/2 or 2 years old. Very short snout.

whitetailsoldier 11-28-2006 03:47 PM

RE: One tough doe pic

Well, This picture has created a gammit of controversy. One tough doe is the name of one of my posts, you should read it. For everyone who brings their deer in to be processed please refrain from constructive critisism. That deer was beautifully dressed. a deer does not need to look pretty to be in good preperation. As far as the picture goes, Its a picture of a picture, on my dinning room table. Just the best i could do for my technology ignorance. I don't need to argue the weight. You nor i are going to change each others minds i know what that deer weighed and im proud of it. If you would read the original post you would realize its not even my deer.
Defense rests

for the love of the deer

whitetailsoldier 11-28-2006 07:30 PM

RE: One tough doe pic
