Stand direction

I was a part of the sea of orange today here in Ohio and my mind began to wonder as it normally does while hunting. I was thinking what direction do most of you hang your stands? I am a southwest kind of guy with a dash of northwest. It doesnt matter where I am I am always thinking about those fall winds. So what are you?

The three stands that hang over my honey hole, hmmm One is facing west, one is facing north and the other is southeast...yeah I think that's right.

I have two stands out where I hunt and I always make sure the wind is in my face at each one.
In one location the wind blows from the east by northeast and the second location it blows from west by southwest .
When I'm sitting in stand # 1 I watch the sun rise , when I sit in stand #2 I watch the sun set.

Right on brother because as soon as I sit down I start to think.....this is wrong....why did I choose this place [:-]? I must have been thinking about this for about two hours, first post. I love watching those videos where guys say "I am going to hunt this set that I havent hunted this season. It is specifically for a northeast wind. I havent hunted this stand in almost three years!" Who waits that long for one such wind? I ask simple questions. Is the wind in my face or crossing it? I could care less about the sun because I can use my hat to block that out. I was merly thinking do we find ourselves hanging stands in one direction more out of habit?

It seems that what ever direction I think is right I still have them come from behind. Happen today.[:@]But sometimes I win!
