We have all kinds of multiflora rose here in Mo. I hate the stuff as well.

Yes, we havehuge areas of that roseand it gets REAL thick! The deer love to bed in it. Also, they like to eat it.

Yea they are here. The state encouraged farmers to plant them years ago for natural fences; now you can't get rid of the stuff in your timber. I have a small scar on my nose from raking against one years ago. NASTY STUFF!!!

Thorn thickets are full of trails.Deer love being in the thick stuff, lord knows how they get thru it but they do. I was stuck in one for about 2 hours one time and vowed to never try that again!The ones yall have look wicked.

We have acres of those things in some spots here, They are one of the few things that will stop me AND the Polaris. Tangles, Briars whatever you want to call em they are thorny!!

My brother called me one night and asked me if I'd help him track a deer. I go help him along with another brother and we tracked this deer into a field of multiflora rose. There were tunnels everywhere and we were on our hands and knees crawling through this stuff. By the time we got through it my younger brother's jacket had been completely shreaded and we were all bleeding so bad that I think we had lost the deer's blood trail and we were tracking each other........
