Apparently no body is being friendly today with my question!

I was wondering if I should go back to the stand that I was in this morning since I seen 3 does and a button buck. And the next question I have is shouuld i put up some scent this afternoon before I sit in the stand, and what kind should I use.

I would go back out and I would use something on the order of a curiosty scent unless your in the south then you may want an estrous scent. Get out there and good luck.

That's a judgement call for you to make but,sometimes it's better to have no scent,and do no calling whatsoever(sometimes).

2. What have your past experiences been like with scents. Did deer respond positive, negative, or not at all. Where are the deer at in the rut in your area? Why were the deer there this morning? Did you use scent or were they just cruising through?

Well they where bedded down in a thicket not 15 yards from me. and I have never really tried to use any scent before. So thats why I am asking>

15 yrds from your stand? Thats close!
I don`t think i would put out anything scent that is.
And for 2nd question "yes" i would try to get back in the stand without spooking everything and hunt it. atlest your seeing deer[&:] (imo)
