my friend has vines that he swears get rob by deer i think its his nieghbors any oneheard of deer eating grapes

OH HELL YEAH!!! I worked at a vineyard one summer, and we ran deer out of there EVERY morning.....in fact, they are quite a bother in a vineyard.

This last summer, a storm blew a tree down on the edge of our bean field. The tree had grape vine in it with grapes starting to grow. The beans were only up a few inches, and instead of browsing in the bean sprouts, the deer always seemed to head for the grapes. They literally cleaned all the leaves and grapes off of that tree.

they absolutely love them, on the wma i hunt one of my favorite early season spots is a grapevine thicket, theres one killed there every year!!

they use electric fences around here to keep the deer out of the grape gardens.

I takes them several years to mature, but they can last for 20 or more years.....
