I think the yardage is a typo, c 'mon that should be obvious. The bow looks to me like some sort of Martin, I could be wrong though

yeah its definatly a scam or something.. it doesnt even look like that bow can shoot 250 yards... and i guarantee u it isnt a 1000 value...

200 yards its completly impossible, a bird flying by will make enough wind, to throw the flight of the arrow of 20 feet.

RE: Anyone ever heard of this?

the horizon bows were sold in the late 1990's. they were the old oregon bow company. we sold them at our shop in ky, i dont recall ever selling one. i did shoot one in the shop. it was very fast, but couldnt say about accuracy. i am sure the sight settings are incorrect. it would be possible to set a pin for 200 yards i guess, but i cant imagine trying it.

if you take a close look at the rest, it is genuine old school overdraw......kind of dates the bow.

How about 320fps with alum arrows? I e-mailed the clown that listed this bow about his claims about the speed and letoff, etc. Here's what he said......

"
as i stated i cant pull the bow back to check it and i know that once it was pulled back it didnt feel like i was holding much wieght at all i havent been able to shoot it for the last 2 years and was told recently i will more than likely never pull it back again so it is now crossbow time if i wish to archery hunt"

firehawk

[QUOTE=bucketmouthhauler;1763798]A horizon firehawk bow? Somone is telling me they are great bows and are about as fast as anything on the market. Are they any good? thanks[/QUOTE. The Firehawk was introduced in 1997 by Horizon Archery. It was a "Tank" of a bow and very fast (320 fps IBO). The firehawk was quite heavy. All in all it was a very good bow. The company went out of business shortly after 2000.

Oops! Didn't pay attention to date. Oh well, better late than never? Or maybe not.
