Okay ! folks;

Lets end all the hard feelings, sorry if anyone feels their toes have been steped on a little; just trying to open a few eyes to the future of hunting for the masses. I enjoy hunting, and have all the acreage(180 plus acres)that my friends, family and neighbors will ever need to hunt without any need for leasing rights. So you see I am not a selfish man I know how to share with the locals,family and friends. All it took to hunt my land was a hand shake and some neighborly friendship.

Okay! I may have been a little harsh and stiff on some of my comments and statements,but if no one says anything and just sits by idle ,whats going to happen to public access to private land for hunting? I tell you whatwill happen; all those people with the swollen egos,toes , and bank accounts are going to ruin the future of hunting for the average folks.

Holy critter is a good example of the difference between the kind of person who leases and the person who doesn't. The person who does has no kinshipwith the guy who doesn't while the guy who doesn't has no animosity toward another hunter as long as that hunter isn't out to shaft him.

Here's a life lesson bought and paid for by another older hunter. Hunter pays 1200 smackers to hunt in a club in Va. yes that's the same Va. talked about. Hunter goes out and scouts a beautiful 240 acre lot perfect for bow hunting in the spring. Everything looks like it's going to be a killer season. Come hunting season hunter goes out to spot. Spot is 45 min to an hour away as almost all spots are in Va. As he approaches the area he sees nothing. I don't mean he sees nothing wrong, I mean he sees nothing at all, totally clear cut. A few trees left along a creek is all that's left of the spot. FWIW the club has other properties. One I hunted is next to some whacked out suicidal maniac who hates everyone in the club.

Here's another. Land owner here's leases refuse others admittance. Land owner becomes educated and learns to be ruthless with those who show the same ruthlessness. What goes around comes around.
