What is your states hunting license prices?
 

I was reading in the paper on Sunday about how the state of MI wants to increase its hunting license fees. They do not want to increase by a few dollars but by doubling the price. I always buy a combo license but rarely shoot any bucks, I like to just hunt for venison so I take a couple doe a year. I am not upset about supporting the state to protect our resources, but how drastic the increases would be.

My question is, are MI prices extremely low or is it on par with other states? I am not talking about out of state fees, but for people that hunt within their own state.

PA -with my archery stamp the lisense includes one buck,one fall turkey,one spring,and small game. $36(i think if not 38)doe tags are 6$ each

Not sure, I haven't bought a license in 2 years...... Gotta love the lifetime. On a serious note, I think it is about $40 for a license and $20 per deer tag.

in texas i pay like 7 dollars and i think it 64 sor the super combo which includes everything saltwater ,freshwater fishing regular hunting licence ,archery stamp,and turkey,but for 34 it just has the deer and turkey stamps

Sportsman package- Hunting and fishing license - 24.00
Archery tags -Oneantlerless deer and one either sex tag. 26.50

Ohio:
Hunting = 19.00
Special Deer permit = 24.00 We can buy up to 3 for either sex, but only one antlered deer having 3 inches ormorecan be harvested.
Urban Deer Permit = 15.00 Only antlerless deer can be taken and they must be taken in a designated Urban zone.

Missouri's is $19 for a resident archery tag. It includes 2 any deer tags and 2 turkey tags.

I'm from michigan too and I don't mind them upping the fees but i think they should do it over time. For instance a buck tag is 15 they're going to make it 30 next year. I think they should raise it 3 dollars for five years and there would be less controversy.

In NC residents pay $40.00 for a sportsman's license which includes:
6 deer (2 buck 4 does in my county, but it depends on the county.)
1 bear
2 turkey
2 wild boar
all small game
all fishing

For $15.00 more you can get the Duck Stamp and hunt waterfowl as well.
