Nice job!!! Any deer is a trophy, especially a buck for your first deer. That was really nice of that guy to go out of his way to help you. Now that you got your first one, he might not be as generous. You'll have to fight him for those spots. Just kidding;)...

Congrats to you. Sounds like you're pumped and now addicted to bow hunting. Let me tell you - after 27 seasons and 20-some-odd deer later, every one has been as equally exciting as my first.
