I saw one like that this year and i swear it changed the way i hunt.It changed the way i look at deer,I didnt sleep ur 2 days,and i never went back to where i saw him.He was way out of bow range,and was bussy beating up another buck.I was going to try and get him,and wouldnt be mad if someone else did.But i want more genetics like that out there.And drawing on something like that under my tree would result in eather a gutshot or a heart attack.I did open my mouth to one person about the deer(couldnt help it)and right away,i knew it was a mistake when he said,where did you see that.I knew he would be hot on my heels.So i gave a differant location.And spent the next week hunting with him there.Then at the end of his vacation,he had a bunch of guys with him and they pushed the piece!Its pubic land,They can do that.But ive become kind of attached to this buck.And as far as i can tell,Hes still alive!!And my lips are zipped.

There is nothing that I can say that hasn't been said before. I think it's really funny how many "sportsmen/hunters" say there is not real big bucks in an area but the truth is there are deer a lot bigger then what most people see and the reason is that they do not know how to hunt deer like this one. I have seen a few over the years but even then it was more of a luck thing then skill.... Anyway congrats to your buddy and thanks for sharing!
