Very nice, he looks to be a mature buck, its hard to tell from the pics but I'd say he is atleast 3-1/2 years old. That neck is amazing, looks like it came from a canadian buck!

He sure has the look of a mature buck. Huge neck and thick shoulders. I would say at least 3.5 years. Just didn't have what it takes to grow a massive rack. But a real nice deer. CONGRATS!!!!

The only accurate way to age a deer is by their teeth wear...
Here's a pretty good link, which shows pictures, up to 5.5 years of age with an additional jaw image from a 9.5 year-old deer.

Without looking at the teeth, I would actually guess this buck to be on the downward side of age (i.e. over 5). The gray hairs on the face are usually a good indication that the buck is starting to really age, and after 4.5 to 5.5 years smaller racks are typical, as the minerals are needed to maintain bone structure.

Congrats!!!!!!!!! Excellent deer my friend!
He is either an old deer with a declining rack, OR, a hell of a young deer. I would guess that he is a 3 1/2 year old. Just a guess. He looks very strong from the pics and the lack of mass may be due to growing such a body versus the rack. I am basing my guess on deer like this that I have seen in Wisconsin.
Whatever it is, great buck!
