just out of range

RE: just out of range
is it a clear 35 yds? If it is I would say just take the shot. Unless you are not sighted in for that far.
I am new to bowhunting myself so I can not tell you what would bring it in, but I would think if it was an open lane with little wind you would nail it.

doh,
I am sighted in up to 60 yds, I would never take a deer at 60+ unless it was my only chance at that "dream buck".
anyway...... I would say you could eyeball it if you get to crunch time and want to take this one down. I would say take the halfway point of your gap between 20 - 30 and add that to the thirty so your pin might be higher on the back but still hit the kill zone.
It might take some practice but you could give it a shot.... or buy a fourth pin

If the deer in not in "YOUR" comfortable range DO NOT SHOOT. But the key is knowing you maximum comfortable range. If deer keep passing at that same distance you may want to try moving a log or something to direct the deer closer to your stand, deer are lazy like us they will almost always take the path of least resistance, or just move you stand closer to that area. Other than that maybe use a soft doe grunt to peak it's curriosity to get it to head those 5 yards or so closer to you.

Try positioning your stand so that you can get closer. Just don't get too close.
I have 20-60 yard pins in increments of 10 yards as well. I had a great 5x5 at 60 yards last night but decided to let him walk. I practice that shot all the time but it is always better to try and get them closer into a more comfortable range. Keep at it and she will come closer one of those times.
