Just wanting to know if you can use super glue to fletch your arrows?

RE: Can you use super glue to fletch arrows?
Yes it works well with plastic and rubber vanes. That's all I use and don't have any problems with it.

I tried it before but couldnt get them to stay on after 2 or 3 shots.

Yes, but... Use super glue gel instead of liquid. And you've got to keep in mind that super glue is pressure sensitive. You should apply pressure to the clamp for about 15 seconds with each fletch or the fletches might not stick down properly and will come off after two or three shots.

I use Krazy Glue Advanced Formula and it works perfectly. I even use it on feathers as well!

I use the Gel type as well and put pressure on it for about 30 seconds before moving to the next fletch.
Make sure your shafts and fletches are CLEAN! Paul |

What Arthur and Paul said. Use the gel if you plan on using any at all and don't get into a big hurry. Clean the shaft well.
I personally use Tim's Goat Tuff. But I have used the Super Glue gel when in a pinch. Good luck. |

Oh I forgot to add, with super glue less is better. You don't need very much at all.

I guess I should have added to my first post that I also use the gel. Yea, it doesn't take very much at all. Heck of alot cheaper than thefletching glues too. The one thing I always hated about the fletching glues is the thin metal tube they are in. After a few uses the tip would get clogged then if you apply a little too much pressure you got glue coming out for 15 seconds and no way to stop it.[:@]
