Stealth cam problems
I bought a stealth cam a few weeks ago. I have since developed three rolls of film. Out of 72 pictures I have 2 pictures that have deer in them. The rest are only of the woods.
Queation - Am I not setting the camera correctly or is this what happens with motion activated cameras? |
RE: Stealth cam problems
If you can adjust the sensitivity, blowing leaves and such may be setting it off, I do think that most have an adjustment for this, make it so that something near a persons body size will set it off, too sensitive..... well you'll just enjoy photos of the woods, squirrels and birds. Hope this helps ~Ben

RE: Stealth cam problems
That is the biggest problem with cheap game cameras, they take pics of everything. I had a game country that did the same thing. I use a TrailMAC digital now, its been out in wind, snow, and rain without any trouble. By the time you pay to have film developed with nothing on it you would have paid for a better one. If you are careful where and how you set them up they can still be productive, but it is a lot more hassle.
