Do you cut off Tarsal Glands?
 
I was just wanting to know how many people think you do or you dont have to cut tarsal glands off after field dressing a deer?

I do it before field dressing .

I used to before I got educated. The only thing you can accomplish by even touching them is to taint the meat when you dress the deer. Leaving them on hurts nothing.

Take them off when the buck is hanging, and use them as a drag rag, or put them by your stand....the stinkier the glands the better.

cut them off before, and use them to kill another one,
