in my stand today watching a little 4 corn,thought i would mess with his head so i got out my can . he circled my stand 2 or 3 times and started to feed again.20-30min had passed obout 8 in the morning and then i messed up.i was so into the thing i didnt notice any thing else. for kicks i got out my grunt and hit it hard!! from behind a loud snort came and when i turned the 130 ish buck ive watched for 2 years was booken he must have been 15 yrds away when i screwed up and spook him. moral is dont get bored in the wood you might blow a great shot

Thats why you don't mess around with something your not gonna shoot. Learned my lesson on that many years ago.

Some of us will "blind call" to try to make something happen. ALWAYS take a look all around you before calling to make sure this kind of incident doesn't reoccur.
