Public land buck and the pics are from onlookers. The Mennonite gentleman, they said, was very shy and didn't care much for the attention. Prolly just meat hunting.[:-]

The Henry County Buck, found dead by Chris Crawford on November 12 2004, is the Kentucky State record at 270 5/8 net Non-typical.

Wow what a buck. I live about 15 minutes from Pennyrile, I seen a non typical set of sheds that was found at Pennyrile by a friend that scored 267 B&C he was 27 points. I have taken 4 P&Y at Pennyrile, my largest score is 163 typical. Do you have any idea what part of Pennyrile this deer came from and if so please let me know, those huge shed's were found 2 yrs. ago.

According to the hunting guide,there was a 249 3/8 non typical killed last year.

They are getting bigger every year.

i gotta agree shadow ace....monster by all means, but not THAT uncommon in KY. number 8 in state killed close enough to my stand last year that...well lets just say i defineitly hunt in that bucks homerange. there is a mammoth like that to turn up here nearly every year now. anyone see the pics of the amish buck from ohio? if not ill see if i can post some pics

Those deer are just incredible. We dont grow them like that where i hunt. How does a deer even hold its head up with that kind off mass on his head, let alone run through thickets and what not without getting caught on every branch?

I beleive its fair chase. Missed a chance a 180 or bigger two yrs ago near Paducah, KY. Lots of big deer in KY.
