Here he is. I was in my treestand about an hour before light that morning. I was taking a drink when I noticed movement to my right at about 20 yards! There he was on a steady walk right by me. The leaves were wet that morning because of overnight rain and I couldn't hear him. I slowly put my drink back in my backpack as he slowly walked away. I hastily grabbed the bow once he was behind some trees and came to full draw. He then turned and started walking straight across in front of me. He wouldn't stop, but I made a "baaahh" sound and he put the brakes on. I settled the 30 yard pin on his chest and released. I watched that arrow disapear in his chest and I thought I made a perfect shot. He later proved that he was a tough bugger. The shot was pretty darn good just missing the heart and lungs somehow in between them. He went maybe 5-600 yards before going down. My best buck ever with a bow and I'm thrilled!!!

Muzzyman88, nice buck and congrats to you. Quality photo too, nice job...

I'm curious, you said between the heart and lungs, can't happen my friend so I'm curious about shot placement, broadside, quarter to or from, etc....just to elaborate on the distance he traveled. Must of been a quality tracking job too, way to go.
