WOW i had to go back and look for distinguishing characteristics...them trail cam pics do him absolutely NO justice at ALL at first glance...go back and his bases are the size of his EAR though...WOW....thats a pretty awesome buck!! lots of character..lots of mass...lots of spread! congrats!!

Wow, what a deer! I gotta get up to the Midwest and shoot a bruiser like that. I'm just as impressed by the body size of the deer as I am with the racks. The 8 point I killed a couple weeks back here in Texas weighed a whopping 135# live.

This deer weighed 191 pounds dressed. The 11 point I killed off of the same farm 3 weeks ago weighed 223 field dressed. My buddy said he thinks he will get the broken points repaired since I have a trail cam pic of him when they weren't broke. I have mixed feelings about it. I think it shows the bucks true character. He must have been a fighter for sure.

I had to do the same thing. LOL. It just goes to show you how decieving our trail cams can be sometimes. I saw this deer on hoof myself last week and could not get a shot. Thats when I realized how big he actually was. When I seen him on the game cam I thought he was just a decent 7 point with some stickers.
