Here's the rack off of a buck that was hit on the road 1/4 mile from my house. He had a 28 1/4 inch inside spread and as you can see he was still in velvet.

I've lived in WV all my life and never saw a deer until the late 60's before there was a season in the county I live. In my 35 years of deer hunting I've only saw 4 or 5 WV bucks that would rival that one and maybe 1 that would surpass it. Nohillbilly, that's a great buck by anyone's standards. I hope you get to put a tag on him.
