Tink's 69 Gel?

I told my wife to pick me up some tink's 69 and she bought me the gel. I have never used the tink's 69 in the gel form. Does anyone prefer the gel to liquid? Can you use the gel on a drag rag? Does it work good on hanging scent pads? Or should I take it back and get the liquid.

Just trying to find the best way to use this type (gel) scent
Thanks

I just picked up the gel and so far i like it. It works good on the hanging scent pads...it seems like it "builds" up on the pad and last all day.I haven't used it on a drag line yet.I find that theliquid is kinda hard to apply to the scent pad... it usually runs all over the place and gets all over your hands.[:@]

I've used both, and kinda prefer the liquid because it absorbs better into the pads that I use. I have had problems with the gel not sticking to the pads when it gets really cold.

I used the gel saturday... made a mock scrape... it worked great... I shot a nice buck standing in the scrape... it drew him right in. Good Luck.

I have used both and have found that i like the gel better because you dont have the mess. Plus you dont have to worry about using pads because you can just apply the gell to a branch of a tree and it will stick, allowing the scent to be off the ground and carry better. Just my thoughts tho.
