Thanks to all of you guys. I really appreciate all the congrats. If there is one thing that I can contribute this swell season to, other than my many hours spent scouting and on stand. It would have to be the managment program my state has adopted the past four years or so with antler restrictions in every zone and a lowered bag limit. The deer population has really made a comeback, andmost important to methe mature buck population is shifting gears. I would be willing to bet there will be many state records set in the next few years. I can't wait. I hope they keep it up.

Yea MO has antler restrictions in some counties as well. I think in a few years the hunting in MO will be even better than it is now. Congrats on an awesome buck and an awesome season as well.

Great season!
It would be almost impossible for me to tag out. I can buy pretty much unlimited doe tags for the counties I hunt.
I love Iowa! I can only shoot one buck per year with my bow. That is the tag I usually have at the end of season[:o]

nice buck,hell look good on the wall

i hate being tagged out early sort of. i just seem to always get my deer right before the PEAK rut and thats an exciting time to be out. also this seem to be the time my wife loses interest in getting out so i try to find anyone who wants a camera man cause its worth it seeing the rut action and also dont mind opening my other spots up to friends who dont really have good spots. so there are some upsides to it.
