Default what a rush!

This evening while hunting I had a real cool experience. I have to hunt on the ground because of getting cut in the knee with a chainsaw. Anyway I set up in cornfield about four rows in watching a trail along the woods. I bleated a couple of times and a huge eight point snuck up behind me. I was so shook I forgot to look through my peep sight. I never did get a shot because of the thickness of the corn. What a rush, I hope I never lose the thrill.

sounds awesome!! that would be a rush. was he in the corn it sounds like?? i read alot about hunting IN a cornfield...that would be neat...but i know it would be TOUGH. i watched the fitzgeralds do cornfield hunts. they sneak through and peak up and down the rows lookin for a deer. crazy.

hope your knee heals...sounds like that could be nasty!!

Yes the buck was in the corn. Corn is tough because of how thick it is. Also if it's windy it's hard to hear because the corn makes a rattling sound. Thanks about the knee. I'm getting my stiches out monday. We have a week left of bow season and hopefully I'll be able to get into a tree stand.
