need help busted twice !
 

I have never been busted that i know of ! the last two hunts older doe went insane !
1st. new woods tons of deer i don't know the woods so i find 5 trails leading to one spot i put stand their . first mistake? i had deer bedding down under me last year different woods. could these deer be so use to this trail they know every tree ? should i move way off the trail ?
2nd. mistake maybe i painted the chain on my tree stand i can still smell the paint would this get me busted ? this doe walked with in 10 yards stopped looked up went crazy ! i seen 10 tails go running down hill !
their are couple huge bucks here these woods are un hunted i'm really bummed !

Scent more than likely, especially that freshly painted chain. Fresh paint smells like paint for quite a while, especially if it is a rattle can spray paint. Lose the chain and try again. Good luck.

i think your correct got to be the chain . that was a really stupid thing to do on my part !
