spooking problems
 

The farm i hunt at theres only one way in and thats the road to the house where everyone parks at. But no matter what time i get there, theres always about 15-20 deerby the house and they always see you pull up and run. Theres no other way in the woods unless you walk through other peoples property and i dont want to do that and disturbed there hunting. Is there anything i could do to not spook them? Im thinking about just camping out in the woods so they wont know im there. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

get there earlier. the deer can't always be there.

Tough call. I have an area with the same problem. We just try to not overhunt it. Maybe once a week or so. If it is your only area, I'd avoid morning hunts there. However, you could run into the same problem coming out at night. I know we do in that spot. Deer will actually bed on the lawn there. So the "get there earlier" theorydoesn't really apply.

For an evening hunt, go in at mid-day, like11am or noon,and wait near the trails orin a staging area.

For a morning hunt, get in way early, like 2am, or park further out an hour before shooting time.
Walk instealthily and take one down right in the yard, or hug the perimeter of the property line to get around them and ambush at the trees. Thiscould be done most easily if you could keep the house between yourself and the deer.

Drive in. Deer are more wary of an individual walking than they are of a car or truck!
