Busted?
 

They are drilling an oil wel where I hunt. So today I had to go down and move a couple stands. In the process of setting up one of the stands, a mature 10 point walks within 15yrds of and spooks. It was nice seeing a big buck that close but does anyone think I may have just ruined my chances of seeing him again. I hate to change setups this time of year but I had no choice. I'm just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. thanks.

I would say you should be OK, just useyour other stands for a week or so before coming back to the one you spooked him by.
