Your dream hunt

What would be your dream hunt with the bow?

Mine would be a polar bearon snowmobilefollowed closely by a kodiak bear hunt. I've taken several black bears with the bow, can't even begin to imagine the adrenaline rush of taking a maneater with archery equipment.

Well as soon as the worlds scientists figure out the whole time space continuim thing I would like to go back in time and hunt anything with Fred Bear. But until that time I would like to go on a deep backwoods Elk hunt with either my recurve or my flintlock. You know the type where you live only in a tent and are in the middle of nowhere.

If you don't know what Arthur is referring to get Howard Hill's book "hunting the hard way". Very exciting stuff!!!

And good luck with that Arthur!:D

Arthur you are the man.
:D

Me? I'll just settle for a good archery elk or caribou hunt for now. A realistic dream maybe.

Slo-pitch, Lee and Tiffany crack me up. I had never watched any of their programming until last week. It was hilarious. The girl needs to be downsized to a 20ga for duckhunting though, she didn't handle that 12ga very well...

Anyway, I don't really know what in the heck I would want to do. Right now, I'm perfectly content with bowhunting whitetails here in lil' ol' Indiana.

Man, that's a tough question... an elk hunt maybe, but I don't know really, like I said, I'm lovin' the whitetail stuff right now.

I want to shoot the New World Record Typical and Non Typical Whitetail bucks from my front porch with my bow. I want my shot to be so perfect that itkills the deer, guts it, and processes it.

I would just like to go back in time. I would go back to the 1990's when I was little and I went out with my dad one day and I couldnt sit very long and when we got up to walk around we spooked two doe that were comming from behind us. I would just sit a little longer so he could get a shot at one. I never had the chance to accually hunt with my dad he died when I was 10.

OK, I'm accepting donations :DI'm hoping when my sons become doctors/lawyers/pro atheletes, they'll give a polar bear hunt to me for my retirement present!! Last time I checked, the kodiak hunt was $15K!

lol...maybe we should move to Alaska, so we don't have the OUTRAGEOUS outfitter fee. I have seriously thought of doing that. Can you see me moving around the country, just so I don't have to pay outfitter fees on top of non-resident fees? lmao I can just see my daughter calling my cell phone. "Okay, Mom, where are you now?"
