RECIPE HELP

THIS FORUM HAS BEEN A BIG HELP FOR ALL SORTS OF INFO. HERE IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. WAS AT A FEW OF THE LOCAL SPORTING GOODS STORES CABELAS, GANDER, SPORTSMANS WAREHOUSE AND NOTICED THESE DEER BLOCKS THAT ARE MADE OF LIKE CORN/BIRDSEED/MINERALS AND SOME SORT OF SCENT LIKE MOLASSES, APPLE, PEANUT BUTTER. IF ANYONE HAS BOUGHT THESE THEY ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE. ASK YOUR WIFES OR MOMS AND HELP ME WITH A RECIPE TO PUT ONE OF THESE TOGETHER. I THINK THEY WOULD WORK GREAT FOR ATTRACTING DEER FOR THE OUTDOOR GAME CAMS. LET ME GET STARTED YOU WILL NEED SOME CRACKED CORN/BIRDSEED THE HARD PART OF THE RECIPE WILL BE THE BONDING TOGETHER WITH AN ATTRACTIVE SMELL. ANY GOOD CHEMIST/COOKS WITH AN IDEA PLEASE POST.

THANKS

RE: RECIPE HELP

honetsly, i would talk to the local super-market and get a case of red delicious apples. You can get 40lbs. for 22 bucks. Thats what i do before the season and it draws the deer right to the cams. And 40lbs lasts a long time, be scarce with it.

RE: RECIPE HELP

You could mix whatever you wanted with molasses then spread it on the trees in front of your camera.
