how do you feel about the full moon?
 

when you look at the calander and see theres a full moon the weekend of your hunt do you smile, or frown...

the deer in my area have been nocturnal so i would think the full moon could bring them out at day time, how do you feel?

my experience for blackies have been it really doesn't matter an extreme amount....i see them sometimes after full moon or not....what i have tended to find is that they come out earlier in the evening when the night before was a full moon....

I ALWAYS see more deer during a full moon. Though I'm not sure why, that seems to go against the grain of what everyone else says......

i agree, the whole year ive seen the most deer during the full moon too, i saw deer right away in the am,than 10:30am ,12 pm, and 4 oclock pm

There is a great article on this very topic in the December issue of "Bowhunter". The studies that they were focusing on did not find any correlation between deer movement and the phase of the moon. One factor that they did not measure was barometric pressure and say that there is more research to come. Interesting topic!
