are you aloud to use bow during rifle?
 

i was watching a show last night where a guy and his son were hunting, and the boy used his bow and the dad his gun in the same hunt, are there any states where this is aloud, or are you always aloud to do this?

In Michigan you can hunt archery during rifle season but you must abide by all rules and regulation for rifle season.

in minnesota you can also use your bow during rifle season. have to dress like a pumpkin though (you'd be dumb not to!)

Here in Oklahoma you can archery hunt during rifle or muzzleloader season, and like everyone said, you have to have the blaze orange on. You can use the bow to fill your rifle tag or if you had a archery tag left you could turn it in on that. There have been a few times when I filled my rifle tags and just went back to the bow.

yup you can here but when rifle rolls around i head to the mountains and public land to make it that much harder, but if i do hunt locally i either carry my muzzleloader or my bow

in Missourri you can use centerfire rifle, muzzle loader, bow, and cross bow dureing rifle season. thats a lot of ways to chase white tails!!!

Yes, but I must be on a rifle tag as archery season is technically closed. And we have to follow all rifle regs, blaze orange and such.

In Texas, rifle season is called general season, which means it's a free-for-all. You can hunt with rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader, handgun, bow and/or crossbow. Strap on a .44 mag, hang a rifle over your shoulder and walk off into the woods with a bow in your hand.[8D]
