Has anybody advised the NRA about this judge?
I don't know how good it will do, but I just left a message on the NRA's legislative action website with the link to the youtube video link and the firejudgelewis website link saying that this group should get the full legal and financial support of the NRA. Who the hell does this judge think she is? My other question is, why haven't the Utah voters done something about this earlier. After reading some newspaper editorals on her, apparently she been acting like judge Judy for a long time [:@][:@][:@][:@]

they were poaching, here is another thread about the situation

http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/fb.aspx?m=1762149&key==

i didn't care for the video or the judgeand i think that some judges have waaaayyy toooooooooo muccccch power, and i think she stepped way beyond the bounds of what her job is, not making laws but enforcing them. but i also read this about the case

Jacobson's ordeal began in November, when his brother, Michael
Jacobson, helped transport a trophy deer worth $8,000 that a friend
had poached.
again and again we hear the news media and others refer to "poachers" as hunters[:@], when nothing could be futher from the truth, why is it any other news story they make sure you know the driver was drunk, the men that killed an officer in fairfield alabama were career thugs, that the parent that killed their child had been reported several times and was known child abuser. but let somone commit a crime against wildlife and they are "hunters"

OK, thanks, I have no problem with a judge chewing ass over a crime that someone has comitted. It's just throwing in her commentary about being opposed to something that is LEGAL that I have a problem with. She used the occasion of a couple of moron poachers to promote her radical views. She can do that all she wants outside the courtroom, but I think during court it's out of line.
