is this a good idea for full moon hunting?
 
since the deer move later during the full moon, what if i hunt from 6am till 9am , than go back in eat, than hunt from 1pm till dark.

me and my friends cant sit all day, how do you guys hunt the full moon?
are we going back in to late?

Personally, this time of year and on a full moon, I would rather not get into my stand until 9 or 10 and hunt until dark as opposed to leaving during the mid morning like that.

I ALWAYS see more deer on a full moon, and especially during mid day. Add to that the rut will be kicking into overdrive in the next week, and it would behoove you to be in the stand as much as possible.

Depending on when the moon is at it's highest point, it may be beneficial to skip the morning hunt. Often times I will enter the woods around 8-9 and leave at 2 or so. But sometimes I just enjoy being out in the morning and I can't make myself sleep late.

i saw a cupple deer last time right as the sun was coming up, last full moon,so you never really know
