will he come back??

my hunting partner was out this morning and had a big buck within 30 yards. He was at full draw but at the last second the buck started walking right at him. He didnt shoot but when the buck got down wind he jumped and trotted about 40 yards. The buck never snorted just ended up walking away slowly. My question is do you think that that buck will come around again anytime soon?

Maybe. Maybe not. It's rut time, and anything could happen, but I would guess he didn't spook badly enough to vacate the area permanently.

I'd just make sure you stay out of that area for a few days.
