rumor today at work (Ithaca NY)
 

At work today a guy was telling me that a new NY bow record may exist. I guess a deer was shot near Ithaca NY that might be a new record. It was a nontypical with 25" spread from what I was told.
Anyone in that area here about this?

Haven't heard anything. BTW, the season isn't over yet! I still have plenty of time to arrow the states record.

I used to live in Ithaca and there are soem freakin monsters in the town. Hunting is very tough due to the suburbs and the colleges but there are definitely some older class bucks within the town limits that are hunted only on the sly and by archery only.

I hunted the airport area and saw a few nice deer as well as on the college owned properties.
