How do I do this?
OK....I am sitting here thinking as my hunting clothes are in the wash......How do I de-stink the dryer? I have no fresh earth sheets or anything, but I was thinking of putting some baking soda in a sock and letting it run about 10 minutes....
What do ya'll do? |
RE: How do I do this?
Stuff it full of scent - Lok clothing, and turn it on , and let it absorb the smells, then you can safely dry your hunting clothes.
God Bless |
RE: How do I do this?
If I have the opportunity, I will hang my stuff outside. If not I will go ahead and not worry about it. Dry away but do clean the lint trap. I think this is where the Florida people do have an adavantage because many have their drier's on the back porch.

RE: How do I do this?
Sprinkle a little deer urine in the dryer before you dry them
Just kidding:D When out of dryer sheets, I either dry outside or dry them with nothing and store them in a plastic tote. Then later, when I get some more earth scented sheets, I just put one in the tote. Actually, I think the earth scent is a little stronger, on my clothes, when I just put a sheet in the tote as compared to putting one in the dryer. |
RE: How do I do this?
I wash mine in regular detergent and dry them in the dryer just as I do any other load of laundry. I don't bother worrying about it, where I hunt, the deer smell vented laundry smells every day. It obviously doesn't alarm them. I grabbed my clothes out of the dryer this morning and literally had monster bucks all over the dang place.
I think it depends more on where you hunt and what scents the deer are accustomed to. |

Don't own carbon clothing. Sold it last year. So what is plan B?

RE: How do I do this?
Air dry outside if possible.

RE: How do I do this?
I never dry any clothing in a dryer. It wears it out, fades it, and shrinks it. LINE DRY ONLY; especially that expensive enigma.
