how windy is to windy?

theres supposed to be 20 mph winds this weekend, how windy does it have to be for deer not to move?

I hunted a morning during the rut last year with 40-50 mph gusts. I saw 7 different bucks in the 2 hours I was on stand. Pines provide shelter from wind. Bucks will move during the rut.

There is no answer to that question. I've hunted windy days and not see anything and I have also hunted windy days and seen deer moving all day long. One thing about it I guarentee you aren't going to see any deer sitting on the couch at the house. If you have the free time to get out in the woods you better believe I would be out there.

any constant windover 13 mph will slow deer movement in my area
