I have been out nine times to hunt my father in laws nursery near my home in northern Illinois ,and have not seen one deer this season.Sunday after church I headed down to southern Illinois to my uncles farm,and on my way down I probably counted 50-75 deer along the drive.The corn south of us has been picked in most places,whereas up here much of it is still in the fields.Anyway only having one day to hunt(Monday)I finaly connected,not once but twice I killed a button buck early monday morning,and then hunted the same stand that afternoon, and shot a nice fat doe.I have never used a four blade muzzy, and in the morning shot the button buck with it.It did a good job.The doe I shot(wwith a muzzy three blade)only ran 15 yards,the BB 30.This is the first time I have harvested two in one day(deer that is)from the same stand.The deer herd on my uncles farm and nearby has exploded.If I lived closer I would be hunting there all the time.Meat in the freezer finaly!

Great job!!! Hunting is like realstate. location,location,location. It does make a difference. I just checked out a my new spot last night. Seen two big does,three little ones and a shooter buck.:) I have only seen six at my other spot all year..[:'(]
