How many times a year do you hunt without seeing any deer?

When I go out hunting and return home without seeing anything, I wonder how often others have this experience. It seems that every time you "talk" with somebody they are telling you about how many deer they saw. Here is your chance to answer my poll on how many times you go out hunting and do not see a deer. I am only talking about seeing deer, not whether or not they were a shooter or in range, just if you see them while you are out hunting.

I set my stands in areas I know I'll see deer.

If I don't see deer, I move that stand.

Generally I'll see deer about 3/4 times in the stand, fortunately this year I've seen deer on every single hunt I've been on. Like Dan, I keep moving my stands to productive locations.

I put 75%
That doesn't mean all the deer I "see" are within bow range

Early season I dont see a lot of deer, but later in about Oct. I see them probably about 99% of the time.

60%-75% of the time I see deer. Not bad but I hunt a lot of big woods where they can be a little harder to pattern.

I think I've only gone three times this year and not seen a deer.

I've been seeing deer everytime I hunt like Washington I put my stands where I know I'll see deer.
Been hunting the same public land for over 12 years now ,so I know the area like the back of my hand .

I have 8 stands that I should/have seen deer from in the past, no luck this year, only seen one buck on stand out of 8 hunts. Full moon phase is not good for my AM hunting.

About 25-50% of the time in October (less this year). Closer to 90% of the time in November.
