How is the weather up there?

This has been the most pleasant season weather wise I can remember in a long time. Since the opening day, which was a scorcher(95 degrees), the weather has been perfect. Lows have been in the 40's and highs in the 60's and 70's. The deer have been moving all month. I haven't seen too many bucks, but that will change soon. I've killed my two does with my bow, personal quota, and now I am buck hunting for the rest of the season. I'll do some rifle hunting also. I can't ask for any better weather for north La. How has your weather been? Has if affected deer movement where you hunt positive or negative? Gun season opens here this weekend and forecast calls for sunny skies with lows in the upper 30's and highs in the low 70's. Man I am loving it. Gotta get one buck with my bow though.

RE: How is the weather up there?

Well the weather here in Michigan has been cold and rain. That and the kids finishing up junior football has put a damper on my hunting. Thank the hunting gods the finished last week, both teams 9-0, yeah baby. I am just itching to sit in a tree. I call it my "mental health time".
